Ryan grew up in Parker, CO and graduated from Chaparral High School in 2006 where he was an honorable mention All-State shortstop and a captain on the Wolverines 5A final four team. He continued his playing career at Lamar Community College and then transferred to Colorado Christian University, where he earned NCCAA first team all region honors as an infielder his senior year and graduated in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Science. Ryan has been involved as a coach at Chaparral since 2010 where he coached at the lower levels for two summers. He spent two spring seasons in 2012 and 2013 as a varsity assistant before spending the 2013-2014 school year coaching at top junior college program Lamar Community College, where he worked with hitters, infielders and assisted with recruiting. Ryan co-founded and currently owns and operates Rogue Baseball Performance, a high level baseball training facility in Highlands Ranch specializing in individual and small group instruction in hitting, throwing and defensive skills. In addition, he is the head coach of 17U Colorado Rogue Baseball Club during the summer and fall seasons. Ryan is passionate about developing young baseball players and teams and preparing players to compete at the college level. |
