Coach DiGiosio is a Colorado native, having grown up in Arvada and graduated from Pomona High School in 1991. He attended the University of Northern Colorado, receiving his teaching license and undergraduate degree. He received his Masters Degree in 2000. He has been teaching high school social studies for 21 years, 11 of which have been spent at Chaparral High School Chaparral's 2016 Coach of the Year, Coach DiGiosio is the head coach of the Chaparral Baseball program. Previous to becoming head coach in 2015, Coach DiGiosio spent 9 years as a Chaparral varsity assistant coach, 7 of which he served as the pitching coach. Coach DiGiosio's previous baseball coaching experience consists of 3 years as the Head Coach at Highlands Ranch High School (2001-2004) and Elizabeth High School (2004-2006). He has also been an assistant at Pomona High School, Wheatridge High School, Greeley West High School, and Columbine High School. He has been coaching high school baseball since 1993. Coach DiGiosio has been married to his wife Danelle for 19 years. They have 2 children - daughter Shea is currently attending Chap and son Damon is a future Wolverine!! Coach DiGiosio is also the Head Coach of the Chaparral High School softball program. |
