All players need to be registered and cleared by the Athletic Office (current physical on file and paid registration) -  in order to qualify for tryouts on Feb 23rd. 

Players who do not make a team can get a refund on their registration fee from the athletic office.

Please read the 2019 Season Opener document  for important information regarding the mandatory parent meeting and season opener celebration scheduled for this Thursday, February 28th at 6pm in the Chaparral Commons.

If you are ordering for delivery prior to the Chaparral Varsity trip to AZ please note that during the order process and order no later than Friday March 1. 

Please also consider a Diamond Club Membership along with any other spirit wear you may be ordering. 

We will be using this Saturday, Feb 23rd,  to begin the official evaluation process of all of our players for the 2019 season.  We will be at Slammers at 6:00am and able to utilize their batting cages for evaluating all hitters.  Consider this day 1 of tryouts. All pitchers will also be evaluated. Any player who can not attend needs to speak to Coach DiGiosio directly.

Day 2 of tryouts will take place inside before school at 5:15am, Monday/Tuesday of next week, Feb 25/26. 9th and 10th graders on Monday and 11th/12th graders on Tuesday. On these days, we will be doing our defensive assessments along with timed runs and agility drills.

Teams will be posted on our website by 10:00pm on the evening of Feb 26th.

Mandatory Season Opener meeting will be held on Thursday February 28th for all players and their families who make a team.

While it is not a requirement, we highly encourage each family to choose a membership level to join. Participation is essential for supporting the baseball team.

Memberships will also be available at the season opener, If you prefer to purchase at that time. Membership swag is only available for a  limited time at the beginning of the season.

March 2nd is a busy Chap Baseball day. Diamond Club is hosting an all-hands-on-deck work day at the Chaparral Baseball Field which coincides with all teams taking photos, SnapRaise and a Varsity scrimmage. Please plan to contribute some sweat equity to the program.

For the third year in a row, Chaparral Baseball will be representing the Easter Bunny in a drive to create baskets for the children who receive benefits at the Parker Task Force.

We will be collecting items from each family at the Season Opener on February 28th. We are asking that all levels bring a bag or two of candy and then each grade level should bring the items listed for their class.

All Players - 1-4 bags of Easter themed wrapped candy
Seniors - Baskets or buckets
Juniors - Grass filler 
Sophomores - Plastic eggs
Freshman - Small toys
