We have hired a new coach - Brittney Stratton will now serve as one of our Varsity assistants and pitching coach. Coach Britney played college softball for the University of Hartford. During her career, she appeared as a pitcher in 99 games, posting a 53-35 record with 78 complete games. Coach Brittney is the career all - time leader at Hartford in games started, complete games, innings pitched, strikeouts, and wins.
Her coaching experience consists of 2 years as an assistant at Wagner College and 1 year as the pitching coach at Brooklyn College.
Earlier this year, as a result of her stellar high school career, Coach Brittney became the youngest player to ever be inducted into the New York city Sports Hall of Fame.
Coach Britney is married to her husband Nicholas and has 2 young daughters, Charlye and Blakelyn.
I am extremely excited for what Coach Britney can add to our coaching staff and what she will provide for our players! She is ready and willing to start working with our pitchers. Contact me if you are interested in setting up lessons with her. Please join me in welcoming Coach Britney to our program!
Also, Coach Marina and her husband are expecting their first child in late spring of 2019. She resigned from her position on our coaching. Understandably so. Good luck Coach Marina and family!!
