SNAP fundraiser update

Good evening everyone.  It truly is a strange and concerning time we are all living in currently. Just thought I'd send out some info as I usually do in hopes that this is all just a pause in our season.

To begin...we are 1.5 weeks into our SNAP fundraiser and at this point we have raised just over $7,500!! However, I know we can do better! We only have 19 players who have sent their required 20 emails and still have more than 20 players who haven't even sent 1 yet. For all players who have tried to do their share, thank you! Remember, this is about doing what you can to help our program not just this season, but in the seasons to come with the money that is raised. Parents, please check in on your son to make sure he has done what he's been asked to do.

Most funds raised - Liam Barrett, Brooks Wiley, Josh Jenkins

Most donations received - Liam Barrett, Tanner Donner, Damon DiGiosio

Rockies tickets - I received an email yesterday from the Rockies stating that due to MLB pushing back the start of their season,  some of our tickets could be for games that are cancelled. Contact the Rockies directly in order to exchange your tickets. HOWEVER, don't do it now. Wait until they put out an updated schedule.

Field/facility use - The field is closed. Tarps are on the mound and home plate. Gates are locked. Batting cages are open.

During this time that we are being instructed by our national and local leaders to practice "social distancing", I would suggest we all do our part and follow those instructions. Taking precautions now instead of dealing with stricter consequences later is my approach.

Contact me directly if there are any questions. I'll continue to give updates over the next several weeks.

Be safe everyone. GO CHAP!
