The Chaparral Wolverines took 3rd place in the third tournament of the Continental League schedule at Plum Creek Golf Course in Castle Rock.  The Wolverines finished one shot out of second place, shooting a +48 as a team and 336 overall.

The Wolverines were led by Katie Malcolm who scored her best round of the season with a 1 over 73.  Malcolm's consistent round consisted of 3 birdies and 2 bogeys with one double bogey.  Malcolm's round put her in a tie for third for the day.  Chaparral also got consistent scoring from Elena Hernandez (87), Kira Petersen (88), and Anslea Dean (88).  All three ladies finished in the Top 25 for the day.  Playing in her first varsity tournament, Morgon Sidener shot a 123 for the day to round out the day for Chaparral.

The Wolverines will be in action again on Monday, April 29 at Pinehurst Country Club in Denver.
